wwrite 1.4.0 has been submitted

wwrite 1.4.0 has been submitted to Apple for approval. There is only one bug fix, and it is a minor one.

Bug: If you had no items and attempted to archive the files the created archive would be corrupted.

Fix: Now, the archive will not be created and a message will display stating the same.

That’s is all. The version is now 1.4.0. When this is approved it will be a free update for current owners

Do not forget, wwrite is currently 50% off in the App Store.

wwrite 1.3.0 now available

It took Apple a little bit to review my update to wwrite 1.3.0. Despite the lag it has been approved and is now available for download or update in the App Store.

As mentioned in the previous post there are only two new features

  • Timestamps on each file in the File List
  • The ability to create an zip archive of your files

These two features are not major features, but they should help those who want to archive and keep track of last editing dates and times.

If you have a feature request, problem, comment, or wish to review the application just head over to our support page and fill out the form.

wwrite 1.3.0 submitted to Apple

Sorry for the delay in any updates of wwrite, sometimes my brain doesn’t feel like programming. Today is an exception and I have been able to crank out an update to wwrite.

I have submitted version 1.3 or wwrite to Apple for review.

There are two new features.

  • Timestamps on each file in the File List
  • The ability to create an zip archive of your files

Once approved I’ll let everybody know. I hope it does not take too long for Apple to approve.

wwrite 1.2.0 is now available

Apple has approved the update to wwrite that I submitted a couple days back.

There is one new feature and one bug fix.

The new feature is that the last document that was open is automatically re-opened at the next launch of the app.

The bug fixed was with importing documents through iTunes. The documents are now inline with the other documents instead of being at the bottom all of the time. Unfortunately this will only affect newly created documents and not existing ones. To overcome this, you can export all of your documents, re-import the ones you imported before and then relaunch the application then delete the subsequent files.

This is a free-upgrade for all current owners of wwrite. If you would like to purchase a copy, head over to the App Store for $1.99

If you find any bugs or have other suggestions please head to our support page and fill out the form there.
